Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 October 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Vidya AI, the learning platform operated by ARISE INSTITUTE ("we", "us", "our") at chat.earise.in (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who May Use the Service
The Service is provided to students enrolled through ARISE INSTITUTE, their teachers, and institution administrators. Student accounts are created and enrolled by the institution; access via "Sign in with Google" is available only once an account has already been enrolled, and does not itself create new enrollments.
2. Accounts and Sign-In
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You may sign in with a username/password or with Google. Using Google sign-in requires that the email on your Google account match your existing enrolled account's email.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials or allow another person to use your account.
- Attempt to access another user's account, data, or class materials without authorization.
- Use the Service to upload or transmit unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including attempting to bypass security controls.
- Use automated means to scrape, copy, or redistribute course content without permission.
4. Live Classes and Doubt Sessions
Live classes and teacher–student doubt sessions may be conducted through third-party meeting providers (such as Google Meet or another configured live-class provider). Your use of such third-party meeting tools is also subject to that provider's own terms. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party meeting services, though we take reasonable steps (including automatic fallback options) to keep sessions available.
5. Course Content and Intellectual Property
All course materials, question banks, recordings, and platform content made available through the Service are owned by ARISE INSTITUTE or its licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial educational use only. You may not copy, redistribute, publicly post, or resell this content without our prior written permission.
6. Fees
Access to specific courses or batches may be subject to fees payable to ARISE INSTITUTE through arrangements communicated to you or your institution separately from these Terms.
7. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if your enrollment with the institution ends. You may stop using the Service at any time.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work to keep the Service accurate and available, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular learning outcome will result from its use.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ARISE INSTITUTE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update these Terms or modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service from time to time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
